In Zimbabwe in addition to experiencing the amazing Victoria Falls any visitor will likely encounter some of the greatest wildlife in the World including the big five ‘leopard, lion rhino, elephant and buffalo’ all of these can be seen in in the country’s national parks. Many visitors to Zimbabwe report that they thoroughly enjoy their visit and are left overwhelmed by how nice the people are and how welcome they have been made to feel. The etiquette in this country is much the same as in most western counties. However, when engaging in conversation most people start with a little chit chat; such as saying ‘hi, how are you?’  Zimbabwe is all about nature, be it hiking, animal wildlife, fishing, white water rafting or bungee jumping, there is something for everyone. Food in Zimbabwe is of a good quality and there is a sizeable number of quality restaurants around. If you prefer to do your own cooking, you will find that most of the supermarkets will stock most things you need.

The capital city Harare is very attractive when compared to other regional capitals. It has very nice wide avenues. The city has a real laid back feeling and it is safe to walk around. There are many things to do including visiting some of the museums, visiting some craft markets, dining in some of the high end restaurants, or enjoy a glass of Zambesi Lager in one of the friendly bars. In Zimbabwe there are various tours available including ‘Harare Historical & Cultural Tour’ that explore many aspects of the city including some key areas from the colonial period.
